perfection!

Durante il nostro ultimo viaggio a Cuba siamo stati ospiti in una casa particular a Remedios nei pressi del cajo Santa Maria "L'hostal buen viaje "di Lester e Nadi , sono stati con noi come amici e non come proprietari di una casa . Ci siamo subito sentiti a nostro agio con loro senza contare che la casa è molto bella,( essendo una casa coloniale autentica )molto tranquilla e pulita . La cucina ottima e i padroni di casa sempre disponibili a ogni nostra necessità , ricordiamo con immenso piacere i giorni trascorsi da loro , se vi capita di andare a Remedios per visitare il cajo li vicino vi consiglio vivamente di andarci

A great place to relax and feel like you are with family!

This was an incredible visit...the family made us feel welcome ...even to the point that their 15 yr old son, Andy took our 17 yr old to the town to have "good clean fun " at the discoteque in town. This is a town filled with good family values that is so hard to find in any country these days. The house is a gorgeous colonial home that is beautifully being restored by Lester and his wife Nety with very careful plans and attention to detail. They are very cordial, hospitable and eager to please...they even set up a scuba diving experience for our son in Cayo Las Brujas when this was a new experience for them...it went off without a hitch. (the beach there is incredibly gorgeous and tranquil....made us feel like we were in a private carribean beach !)...The food is incredible....my only critique is that they cook too much and we always felt bad leaving anything on the plate since they went to such obvious care and detail for every meal..... My favorite meals would be their fresh "pargo" (trout?), Nety;s arroz con gris and Lester's breakfast spanish style tortilla (frittatta with potatoe and onions) with chorizo gingerly displayed in small individual plates for each person.....exquisite!.....Let's not forget Lester's delicous mojitos with fresh yerba buena from his yard!!....He supplies the whole neighborhood with yerba buena! ...We really appreciate this family and they made us feel sentimental leaving....as if leaving family behind! Thank you again Lester, Nety, Andy and Nail. and their assitant, (name - ? - too many mojitos!))...we miss you all!...PS....thank Filipe for all the help he gave us with transportation!!...

Very hospitable hosts, excellent food, a great place to stay and take in Las Parandas

Lester and his wife made us feel very welcome. The meals were the best we had in Cuba and the prices were very fair. Look on utube under Remedios if you want to get an idea of what the fireworks on Xmas eve were like, or better yet, don't spoil the surprise and just go! Lester's english was very good and he was patient when I wanted to try out my spanish. He also helped us arrange transportation. northislandvet 1 contribución Canada

Una pareja encantadora

Estuvimos dos noches en Diciembre, y en una de ellas pudimos disfrutar de la parranda infantil. La estancia en la casa fué muy agradable, y Lester y Naty (y Cariñoso, el gato) nos acogieron con mucho cariño. Además, Remedios es una ciudad encantadora, situada cerquita de los cayos. Si estáis pensando pasar por aquí, merece la pena.
